Gordon The Train - The Big Express Engine

Gordon is the big, blue, tender rail train on  Thomas and Friends .  He has blue with red stripes, and he bears the number four. Gordon is a tender rail, which means he has an extra cart that carries his fuel and water supplies. Gordon is seen as a leader or better yet a father figure among the other trains. Often looked up to by his peers, he is big and has much more experience than the other trains. Gordon tends to have a fairly short temper but he forgives fairly quickly as well. Gordon comes off as a little grouchy all the time, but behind his mask of grouchiness is a warm heart that cares deeply for all the other trains.

Gordon is very hard working, and he never gives up without a fight. Gordon is compassionate about the other engines, and he always has their backs. Gordon has been in every season of Thomas and Friends. Gordon has also been in all of the movies and special episodes. He speaks in a light  British accent on the television show. Infact his accent is what makes him a popular character in the series.

So in summary, Gordon is a great train with a great heart . He would never abandon one of his friends. He is always a great help on the railway. He is reliable and usually cordial. He does have the tendency to be grumpy sometimes, but he is well intentioned.  Gordon is strong and handsome. He is painted blue with red stripes. His number four painted on the side is a nice accessory. When it comes down to it, this train is reliable, strong, and kind.
